Primo Registrations will make sure your purchase is handled as smoothly as possible- Whether the private plates are on another vehicle or on a certificate, we can handle the whole process for you via the DVLA, including the issue of a new registration document, MOT certificate (if applicable) and a new tax disc for the new private plate. All purchases will also be supplied with a set of quality number plates to display on your vehicle once your transaction is complete, so that you don't need to do anything else but attach them to your car!

The timeframe from agreeing your purchase to receiving your plate / retention certificate can vary due to outside factors, but on average we normally see transactions completed fully within 2 weeks for unissued numbers, and one calendar month if transferring from an already registered vehicle. This will mean that once payment has been received we then start the process of the transfer to your car. We would ask that during this time you return any information to us that we require accurately and quickly so that we can ensure you get your plate quickly. We will keep you updated along the way to ensure that you fully aware of what is happening - we pride ourselves on our customer care!
